Great communication leading up to the job, they arrived on time, did a professional job and when they were gone the only reason you knew they were here is our glass door was looking like new. There wasn’t a speck of garbage left behind. Might I add, the crew volunteered their time to help in the sandbagging of the Barrowtown Pump Station. That says a lot about the people your dealing with.
We had Dan and his team replace all our windows recently. I was and am extremely impressed with their professionalism! They showed up when they said they would which seems like a no brainer but this isn’t the case with most trades these days! The team was polite and friendly, they went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed on time despite dealing with the recent flooding. Our installation for this project was completed by Dan DeVries, owner of Authentic Installations and his assistant Adrian Groeneveld. Dan rapidly assessed what was involved and approached the situation with obvious ease. He explained the procedure he would use, what his assistant was responsible for and his time estimate to complete the job. Upon completion it was evident that Dan was well versed in his trade to a degree that exceeded my expectations. He functions in an organized, deliberate fashion with due consideration for a superior result. Similarly, Adrian was an obvious asset to the task at hand who harbors standards not unlike those of Dan. Dan DeVries of Authentic Installations replaced 29 windows, 2 patio sliding doors and a front and back door in our home, in January 2016. The work was completed in the time frame given, was of excellent quality and workmanship, and all the appropriate clean-up around our house was also done. Dan was very personable and thoroughly professional, kept us informed throughout the entire process of what was being done and was always willing to answer any questions we had. Our home looks like it has literally had a “face-lift” and we love the updated appearance! We would highly recommend him for any window/door installation needs you may have.
Our house is 114 years old and I have had Authentic Installations replace almost half the windows in my house and currently have the remaining windows on order. (Doing it in 3 phases.) Both times the windows were installed brilliantly. They were made to look like the old wooden double hung windows original to the house and retrofitted from the inside so that the outside of the house was not disturbed as we had just had it painted. They were very efficient with the installation and they cleaned everything up at the end of the day. They are very professional and easy to deal with. Dan and his crew were always here on time and with smiles on their faces. I would recommend Authentic Installations in a heart beat!
